The Bureau of Sports is a bureau of the Ministry of Culture. It is responsible for sport and recreation in the Commonwealth, including public playing fields, sports grounds and school sport. The Commonwealth Olympic Committee is attached to the bureau, and selects and trains the national teams for the Olympic Games and the Oceans’ Games, which are held every four years in a member state of COMOC.

Most sport in the country is played in clubs, and the commons encourages the proliferation of sporting clubs. Most of them are also entered in the register of the Bureau of Voluntary Service, although registration is voluntary. The bureau’s corporations build their grounds, supply their equipment and train their coaches. Cricket is especially popular. The bureau was established in 1958.
