The Ministry of the Commons is a ministry of the Vekllei Government.

The Ministry of the Commons (COSMOHAB) is responsible for housing, public buildings and the parks and gardens of towns in Vekllei. It holds the common ground of Vekllei communities in the old sense of the word – the houses, halls, squares and greens that belong to everyone. Common responsibilities include:
- Construction, provision and maintenance of public housing
- Allocation standards for housing in incorporated areas, with the municipal realtors
- Design and construction of public buildings and federal works
- Upkeep of urban green spaces, parks and public gardens
The ministry works closely with municipalities and Republic Assemblies to deliver housing and buildings at the local level. Most new housing and major public works are designed by the civil service and built through the National Construction House, but planning is consultative with local government. Transport belongs to the Ministry of the Interior, and land titles to the Ministry of Landscape. The Ministry of the Commons is led by its First Minister, elected from within by professional staff.
